The Gallina Vineyard reaches a maximum altitude of 240 metres above sea level. Like Albesani, it is in Neive. It too is characterised by Sant’Agata Marl, a soil structure which reflects the area’s geological history.
The soil is rich in limestone and clay, containing less silt than Albesani but more sand. South-westerly exposure: extensive sun coverage, favouring a perfect ripening.
It shares the MGA of Neive with Albesani: a distinctive sign of the close link between Neive and the tradition of Barbaresco.
